Plow attachment the knee knocker what do you call this seat on a Minneapolis moline ?😐

Reminds me of the early rail dragsters where the driver sat behind the rear axle.

Some of them had the front of seat directly against the differential cover.

An explosive failure would ruin your day!!!

I would call that the no thank you, I'll walk. Lol. They sure came up with some crazy stuff sorting through all the bad ideas over the years. To be honest, other than the potential to pinch that seat looks like it would ride better than most.

Early prototype from the Bobbitt manufacturing Co.

They really took off in the 90's, see appendage below.

That is a adaption of that aftermarket seat suspension that was made in Indiana. Can not think of the name of it at the moment.
Extra bonus points for the first person that can name that seat suspension company. They also made other products. Name is coming to me, Kneadler or something close to that.

I believe Knoedler is correct.
In looking at that picture I'm wondering if that seat is in its natural position or if that guy is holding it down in the compressed position? I agree there is definitely something not right about it. Never seen one quite like that before.

The spring is free and there is a handful
of different slots for it to on to raise
the seat to different levels. I believe
that seat is down as far as it will go.
