Saturday cub news

Sold another '49 cub. With a belly mower. Guy also bought a pile of cultivator parts. So my wife and I went and looked at the Lo-boy. It's a '57. It's now living in our barn! Seller said he bought it at a sale. Never fooled with it and knew nothing about it. Took us an hour to get it running once we got it home. Almost felt bad we bought it as cheap as we did. Started to put the '49 Ag project cub back together. Head bolts were all loose so we took it off. Nice and clean and smooth working. New head gasket and that's back on. Was going to put manifold back on....but one gasket was missing. Fan is totally disassembled and missing parts.Oh well gotta order parts. Wife says "Crispy" the burnt cub can stay. And the lo-boy..... I'm thinking a '57 would have been Red with cream 11 bar grill?

Low boy. Ag cub in pieces. And the bottom right is one we sold

Glad we ain't hoarders.....we would run out of space. I love to see them go to a new home. Guy on Friday has 7 home schooled boys. And 5 acres of grass. He was super excited to find a reasonable priced cub. Guy yesterday sold his cub 10 years ago when his wife passed. Been wanting one that ran good but that he could restore. We felt like we sent those two to the right home.

No biscuits this morning. Homemade pancakes. With blueberries and feta cheese on top. Little maple syrup....... I'm the pancake chef!

this is my 1957 Loboy. It fits nicely in a standard 8' pickup bed.

there is also supposed to be a white insert on the side of the hood, but I never put it on. Some are painted white, and some are decals. the white on the hood is similar proportions to the white on the 230-350-450 hoods.

Good morning, formerly: I have a 1958 LoBoy, I painted the white areas, but I never found a set of the chrome pieces that go along the upper part of the white. I think it is supposed to say McCormick.

Hey, Larry, maybe we should get together and hire us an airplane and a pilot, that way we could fly around and meet some of these people.

somewhere on this computer, I have a picture from a RPRU that has a whole stretch of Loboys in a row. Most of the top holes on
the hood were empty.

Pancakes are fine and with blueberries good too. Skip the cheese more syrup. Real maple though. Not the fake store bought stuff.

You're buying them cheap, I saw one locally on Craigslist for $2000. Don't see very many come up for sale up here.

I almost felt bad when I bought a tractor cheap once . Almost . The fiat dealer made the deal with a little old lady I just signed the paper work .
