The only thing that sold around here, was chisel plows, that was made by Jeffroy Co, the early ones developed a lot of side play,and a few Allis Mowers,but nobody deep till's around here ,it would brings up too many rocks, no till, they are trying to conserve fuel/trips over the field.

AC sold tillage tools around here in part due to strong dealers. Not on the level of JD or IH but pretty respectable for a second tier company. Get down in the Southern Tier and they did a bit better. A guy not that far away had and probably still has his AC field cultivator and 2000 plow.

S.V. Liked the AC tillage, I have a 1600 series 20' chisel plow new in 1982 used on maybe 1500 acre haven't used it since 1986.
