Propane tanks

For BC I just screw the valve out fill with water and cut out a hole for a 2" pipe fitting. If a nipple just screw a Tee on it then a nipple with a ball valve. Then a piece of pipe with one end flattened some screwed in to the valve. With a plug for the open side of the Tee put a stem for the air hose and done. You could put a gage on it if you want. I didn't I just fill till I don't hear the air move and call it good. With the pipe close to the bead and the air going into the tire open quickly to let out a blast for seating beads. You could also weld a lip to catch the bead so it is not into the gap to far and not seat. You will have to hold it or it will push back when the air is let loose.
I set the valve so the handle has to pull to open easier to open fast that way.

It gets more pressure in the original use than I put on it with air. If it is that poor I would not want to use it for a propane tank either. Mine has been in use for over 20 years with no problem. I did have an air compressor blow the tank out when the relief valve didn't open one time about 30 years ago. Blew the bottom right out made a dust cloud and fel right back down like it was with a aider tank afterwards. Junked the tank and put a different one on it. Got a lot of questions from dad about it. Blew out the window near it too.
I don't live in a bubble worried about if I will get a pinched finger or something while doing things.

Thanks. I get the picture now. Fiddy years ago I would have been using one for a rocket launcher.

That gives me another idea. Maybe I can use my regular tank for my possum problem. Add a hose with a pipe nipple on the end. Then load the pipe with some rock salt. If the opening was big enough to allow the volume of air needed.
