I was asked to make a offer on a 67 3020 diesel tricycle type tractor. Bearing in the front roll-a-matic is out. Run when parked 15 yrs ago stored under roof. Will need 100% gone through and new tires. Any help on value would be helpful Thanks

Might get more responses if you posted this on the john deere forum. If you do, add whether it is a synchro range or a powershift. Also,
hours, if known. Single or dual remotes too. Also be forwarned that values vary a decent amount around the country . Anyhow, in my area
if its the more common synchro range, $4,000 to $5,000 might get it sold.

How is the sheet metal? What type of transmission does it have?Does it have the complete 3 point? My Dad had bought a new one in 1966 so I know some about them.Pretty good tractor.

I think the $2500 price is about right the way it is setting. I bought one for around $2000 that was complete but had had bad block that we are parting out. Tom

A good 3020 diesel 1965-68 that would have pencil injectors and 2 remotes along with WFE auctions off in the low 6,000 dollar range here. Runners tend to go for
4,500-5,000 dollars. The fact it has not run for an extended time scares me a little. I've heard horror stories about New Gen synchro-range tractors pushed around
without being put in tow position. The other questions have been asked if gas or diesel, power shift or synchro-range, one or two remote outlets. Tires need
replacing. I would try to get it for 1,800-2,000 dollars but that may not be the market in your area. Especially, if the engine is stuck hard and if a diesel the pump does
not work.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking 1500 to 2000 as it sits. I want to take a closer look at it this weekend. It is a syncro transmission and I want to see how the sheet metal looks

Let us know how it goes. From seeing related posts on this subject, I have seen several guys stating "Scrap Value" on these are about
$2000 to $2500 depending on a couple factors, primarily sheet metal condition of course (esp. fenders) and some other do dads like top
link and weights. NFE is a minus in your favor as decent WFE can go for $1000.

I think you're in the ballpark. I would go for the lower side. To many variables on a non running tractor. Also depends on weather you can do the work yourself.
