I can't remember the numbers now, but I'm guessing this has a BD engine in it. I had a 3444 with a BC, 144 maybe?

Our neighbors had a 434 with a loader. That engine
always sounded like it had a knock, right from the
time it was new. We hadn’t been around too many
diesel tractors at that time.

IH 434 tractor built at Bradford UK from 1966 to 1970 same as a B414 with later
tinwork. Used the same BD154 diesel engine as the B414. This tractor was superceded
by the 444 again same tractor with restyled tinwork to match the 454 and 574
tractors. MJ.

I just read somewhere that they only built the BC engine for us Americans. Was a BC engine not sold in the UK? The one I had was a great engine.
