They look good thanks for posting. Look like they in proved on some things on them like that long clutch handLe and maybe some other things. I heard from a guy a long time ago that there was a place in south America that was casting and making the old John deeres because where there antique to us that these tractor were new to have for them. Have you heard anything about this.

Very interesting! Up to at least ten years ago you could buy a new 80's model f150 in Brazil. Not sure if they are still making them, but then they were.

Generally speaking, old tooling does not get scrapped.
It gets moved to another continent. Or sold with rights to produce by others in some sort of joint venture.

The 730 was a Deere, made by Deere in their Rosario Argentina factory by tooling that Deere moved to Argentina from their Iowa factory...The Swedish tractors were built by an independent company. Not connected with Deere. They were a true copycat.

Mecum auctions just had one of these that sold. My first impression is I wonder if Deere sued these guys into the Stone Age. Hope not, is a nice looking tractor.

That or they sold about as good as a copy cat Edsel might sell.
Mighty expensive overhead when only about 400 units were sold before they stopped.
