Stuck Kubota

Our preacher called yesterday morning and asked if we could bring a tractor over and pull his out of a "little muddy spot". Apparently his daughter drove the 4 wheeler in to the mud and got stuck, so, having a 4 wheel drive tractor he drove right in to push her out...... 4-5 hours later it got too dark and they gave up. Called us first thing. Took a few minutes but Mick's 851 saved the day! Got it muddy and scratched the paint!!
Mud slinging preacher?

The vid skips the critical part. Did you have to edit out where you brought in a JD to get the job done? If the 'Bota had ag tires it would have pushed the ATV right on through, LOL.

Showcrop, I wanted to take one of my row
crops........mick wanted to show off his!
Lol. No JD stuff around here!

A few years back a contractor I know got his skid loader stuck in a stream. He tried to push out with the bucket and ended up digging himself deeper. When I got there it was almost on it's side.
When I tried to pull him out, he continued to push with the bucket. I finally got him to Stop, fill the bucket with material and raise it. That shifted the weight off the rear end and I was able to extract him with minimal effort.
He was doing stream bank maintenance around a property to protect a house. I ended up going in with my PC-40 to do that job.

(quoted from post at 05:54:57 12/31/20) If hydraulic cylinders on the bucket for tilt why couldn't he have pushed himself out backward?

WES, pushing back with the bucket works well when there is something to push against. The soupy mud keeps the bucket from getting a grip on any solid ground.

WNY Bill. I think that's my wife at end of video. Preacher's daughter never came out of house. He did push the 4 wheeler out the day before he called us. Just sunk the tractor.

I think if the driver had spun the Kubota tires just a little faster, he might have________ (fill in the blank). Be charitable.
Not exhibiting much experience with walking a stuck tractor out.
