pto drive shafts

I need a pto shaft for a transport auger. I'm finding ones for 25-45 horse with 1-3/8 shaft . I need an 1-1/4 with a keyway in the yoke. Most of what I find are for bushog type mowers with just a shear pin type bolt securement and like said 1-3/8 shaft. This is for a 10x41 auger so will need to be able to put a 50+ horse tractor on it to keep up with an 8 inch unload auger in the bin. Apparently it got lost at the dealer that I got it from used. When I first contacted them it needed a u joint now it is supposedly not findable so I figure I will need to get a new shaft for it. Not going to hold my breath waiting on it.

Many farm supply stores have compete PTO shafts and components to build your own with the yoke ends you need. NOT going to be "cheap"!

I have used a place in Cincinnati, Ohio, that specializes in transmission parts, truck ptos, and drivelines-any kind. I think there are 1 or 2 others also. Maybe the same in your area. It was reasonable-I had a pto made for a bush hog. Mark.

I looked at like Agri-Supply they have several only with smooth yokes and 1-3/8 holes. I need one for 1-1/4 with a keyway in it. I know about the Tsc and such. I was also looking for a HP rating of some kind. I know an auger is not a power user like a chopper. didn't want to find all the parts then be to light or way over kill which would be a better option than the to light.
I have both the Weasler and Hutchinson part numbers for the drive shaft on it. When I look for it nothing comes up. Just says there is nothing for that number. I'm going to try calling Weasler and see what they have to say.

Doesn't sound right on sizes and power rating... 1 3/8" is bigger than 1 1/4".

Call a local A&I products dealer there is a whole catalog on pto drive shafts,, you might even be able to look it up on line,

I used to load out with a 8x52 auger, fed by 8" bin augers, with a 25 HP tractor. So I think any PTO you come up with will be heavy enough.

You'll probably have to build your own with the yokes and tubes you need. A&I should have the goods.

Class 2,4 and 6 iirc .
Class 4 will be borderline , go with the 6.

Wessler should be able to tell you what size the shaft is so you have the right rating.

Your most economical option may be to buy the prefab rotary mower shaft and the right implement end yoke and change it out.

I tried calling Weasler. They are closed till after new years so will have to wait on that. So next project for now.
