Gonna have to do it the old fashioned way

We got 11" of snow last night, new tractor is in Lincoln NE, will clean up with 6610, maybe for last time.

I found a nice 10' blade about an hour from me, do you think that would work OK with Powerstar 110?

A few years ago my Deere dealer made me a heck of a deal on a 6415 open station with only 45 hours on it. I traded in a high hour 6400 cab tractor on it. The 6415 has been a great tractor but on mornings like this, pushing snow, I question my sanity for getting rid of the cab. Hope your next snow is moved in climate controlled comfort.

Would the blade hang off the bucket, or would the bucket have to come off? Blade for plowing snow? I have a snow pusher which I use on my TLB, and I am now spoiled.

I don’t like to push snow, it just creates problems. Once we get snow, most times it’s here for months, not always, but usually. And if I plow up a bunch of banks, the wind just blows , and the banks catch the snow and the problem gets worse every time you clean the driveway. Snow blower throws it up, and a lot of the snow takes off in the wind. No plow banks to catch snow afterwards

If you can "hang it" on the front you might like it better. I use a 3 pt. blade reversed, welded a pipe down the main frame, stick a bale spear in the pipe and away I go. May not be ideal but works for me. I use this on an open station tractor, kinda cold this morning. but over along the river south of Dubuque we only go 8 inches of snow

I just bot a ford 1500 tractor last night and it came with a ford
5' model 715 snowblower. Not sure how much I'll use it. Seems like the big snows go by on the north or the south.

A little small if anything I run an 8 foot with a 3020

I like the blade scraper for big yards and lanes and when the snow gets really deep other than that I like my box scraper

I agree with Bruce. My driveway is 1/4 mile long going north/south. If I plow berms, the drive will just fill back up every snow. I have not been able to buy a blower yet, so I gotta push the west berm a hundred feet into the field, 96 inches at a time.
