skid steer quick attach question

I have a 1845C skid steer that has a quick attach coupler plate that is so wore out I think it is past time to replace it. I stopped at Case IH today and they want $2500 for a new one. Yikes!!! I see there are some aftermarket couplers available.
Has anyone replaced there couplers and where did you find one? The one that is on the skid loader is to far gone to repair. I hate to purchase a part like that site unseen without know if the manufacturer is reputable.

I "love" all these standards, none are the same.

We have two Westendorf's with different, one deere, several skid steer and now a Euro.

Arg...

Check Facebook or Craigslist for a used one, there were a ton of 1845s made. Neighbor had one that burnt (engine fire) a year ago I think the scrappers got it for iron price.

I have one also and I replaced the center mount that holds the levers and then rebuilt and rebushed the places were the cylinders hook up to and pivot points. if your is that bad look up heavy equipment salvage yards or all state ag parts I have saw them on there site.

Unfortunately, that is a high-wear item. Either you repair or replace... that is usually one of the first items sold off of junk skid steers, so the likelihood of finding a used one isn't graet.

There is a manufacturer near me, Berlon Industries, that makes buckets and universal attachment plates. Google will find them. I have not used any of their attachment plates, but their buckets are very well made.

Not sure they will sell to you directly but ATI or Attachments International makes a replacement that is considerbaly less and a very good product.

Montidale,

A new one from HLA should be around 950.00 to 975.00.It is 3500# capacity. Where are you located. We should have one.

I live in central Mn. Once I get some time I will check out HLA and the other places folks mentioned in this thread. We got some snow last night and I'm still digging out. If we get much more snow I'm going to need the skid loader to move see piles of snow. I've been looking at a few manufacturers on the internet.
