Recap rears

About 30 yrs ago a friend had a pair of firestone deeptread casings recapped with field and road treads I'm thinking a company in Michigan did it.is there anyone still recapping tractor rears,and if so can you get super all traction treads on a casing ??

I looked there, they only do radial tires.

They don’t sell them you send your tires to them and they recap them but only radials

I think that was Olson tire in Mt.Pleasant MI. They did that back in the 80's. Don't know if you can still get them done now. Also don't know if Olson is still doing that yet. Looking at their website it looks like they are now Part of the Meekhof tire group now.

I have a set of recaps on a DC Case. The problem is the tread is OK but the sidewalls breakdown. These lasted about 25 years but tractor doesn't get worked hard

We had Olson tire in MI recap the first set of Firestone 20.8-38 radials we had in late 80"s. tread was ok but sidewall attachment came loose.
