Different kind of IH tractor project....

Hopefully this catches the guys from the IH board so I don't have to double post. Don't want to be a pest. I'm currently working on converting some
old IH filmstrips with their respective 45's & posting them on YouTube. I started a playlist of them & have included a link below. Thought some of
you might like to check them out. Yes, there's only one up at the moment, but I plan on getting another one completed this evening & more to come.
If you are wondering, NO I do not monetize my own videos i.e. I'm not here panhandling & I'm sure as heck not out to be the "popular kid". One of
the main reasons I ditched the TV was due to all the lousy commercials. There is one video on my channel with ads & that's due to a copyright claim
by the company that owns a song that's played in part of that video. It's not a tractor video, so if that's what you're not going to look at, don't
worry you won't be bothered by ads elsewhere on my channel. Anyway, I'll post back a couple times over the course of the winter as I go along to
keep you folks posted, in case you don't have a YouTube account. Also, feel free to cruise around my site & check out my other vids. I'm not
lounging around in my all-together, so they are safe. :vD

IH Filmstrips....

"lets get down to brass tacks" havent heard that saying in a long time.

There are a few "Brass Tacks" filmstrips in my collection. The one on twine is a hoot. It skips a bit, so copying that one that might be put off for a bit. Just finishing up one for the 1206 now. Should be posted in a bit. And.... yes, there will be one for the 560. That's a skipper too though.

The claim that the fast hitch is the world's fastest hitch makes me want to see a contest between eagle hitch, fast hitch, quick hitch, and a standard 3 point to see what is actually the fastest.

Well, I can tell you with the fast hitch, if you don't have the tractor and implement are not perfectly aligned things don't go well at all. Same with 3pt. But I'm sure that guys with experience with other hitches will tell you the same thing.

I'd like to see that too. All done on a muddy hillside to boot. :vD

Yep, experience. I have experience knocking over my 3pt implements with the arms & I have experience knocking over my Fast Hitch implements with the arms. Goes just about as fast between the two of them.

That might be the simplest trip mechanism but it’s also expensive when it breaks the spring they call it is the big curved piece fiat asks 150$ for that piece then you have the leaf springs which are 20$ each then you have the special bolt that holds the leaves which is 48$ it doesn’t take to long to spend a lot of money on plow Parts and they do break when you get in the rocks of course when the plow was new the parts were probably less than 48$ for the whole works or even less
