Fordson Major Tipping pipe return oil ???

I,m thinking of installing an auxillary tipping pipe hydraulic set up on my Fordson Major. My question is ,,, do I need to create a return oil line or will the pressure pipe allow oil to return to tractor rear end sump when I drop quadrant lever to lower trailer lift cylinder ?? I will be using the designated tipping trailer port .

Oil goes out and back from the same port as the system is single acting. You will find
it is best to chain the lift arms up when you are using a trailer otherwise they go up
and down too.
