(quoted from post at 19:22:33 12/24/20) If I'm not totally off base That thar truck is a Dodge "thunder wagon" Power Wagon. or or what ever they were called. We have one in the neighbour hood here that is still driven about monthly.

Sorry, it is a 1950 to 1965 Willys/Jeep pickup.

The original Dodge Power Wagon was a far stronger truck than the little Jeep P.U. But in the 50's and early 60's they both were 4 wheel drive with 2 sticks in the transfer case plus the main tranny floor shift. The Jeep was more maneuverable, so it was preferred for residential and small business snow plowing. Jeep had some business with Western Plows (the red ones) and Dodge eventually had some business relationship with Meyers Plows (the yellow ones). When the first IH Scouts, and soon the Ford Bronco, and the Chevy Blazer, their 4X4 models were commonly fitted with plow blades up here in the North Country.

Boy, that is a great looking little Jeep P.U. The color is very "seasonal".

Back in the early 60s, my brother replaced a valve seat on a neighbor's CJ-5. I think it had the little F-Head four. Anyway, right after he finished the job, we got a major snowstorm so my brother decided to test drive it. It had a plow on it and we plowed the church parking lot and a few driveways around the area.
He drove and I controlled the Hi-Lo shifter. He would go forward in Lo and as soon as he pushed the clutch to put it in reverse, I would shift into Hi so he could back up faster and then I would shift back into Lo when he pushed in the clutch to shift back into first.
Worked real well and sped up the plowing a great deal. Thanks for jogging that fond memory out of the back of my mind.

A brother of a local farmer had one of those little Jeep pickups and he used to haul Baled hay wagons with it. It also had the 4 cyl. engine and was a little underpowered for hauling a big hay wagon. He had to haul a couple of miles on a blacktop road so he would unlock the front hubs and put the transfer case in low in order to pull the steep hills. Saved a lot of wear and tear on the clutch too. LOL
