Still run mine every year for a few acres, dad had a small fleet of them growing up when it was cheaper to buy another combine than new parts.

Pretty machine.
As a little kid, I was able to watch many
acres of small grain flow into the header
of dads 503 with 282 gas engine. Gas good
service into the 90s when it was sold and
drove away.

Ran both a 403 and a 503 harvesting Rice for 15
years in south Louisiana.both with and without
tracks.no cab just a plywood “top”.got stuck many
times in the no bottom gumbo mud we farmed.
