I posted last week about using caliper grease or never seize on brake parts. My brakes on my 2012 dodge were hanging up after it had set for quite a while. I cleaned everything and lubed it up good. Still were hanging up. I went to Napa today and got lifetime calipers with the holders. I figured the calipers were hanging up. Then I pulled the banjo bolt on the old caliper. Nothing except for 2 small drips. It should have a steady drip from my past experience. Did some on line searching and there is a bracket right on the front axle that when it rusts pinches the rubber line closed. I’m posting the pic of the bracket and line. Mine definitely looks closed off. Step on the pedal and it forces fluid in, but the fluid won’t flow back like it should. Just passing along some information if someone might run into a similar problem. I’m going to take the bracket off, clean it and buy a new hose.
