Hydraulic lines rubbing

I have an old Bobcat X320 excavator that has hydraulic lines that are close together their packed close enough together that when the machine is operating many of the hydraulic lines rub against each other. I noticed some lines today that have the outer rubber worn off down to the steel braid. If that continues the lines will wear through and then lines need to be replaced.
I am aware that there are protective tubing that can be put over the lines, but in most cases there is not enough room to add that.
Any other possible solutions?

There are other protective wraps that can be used, such as an abrasion resistant sock that is slid over the hose that doesn’t take up much room. Another option is to use zip ties or similar to bind the hoses together so the move together as a group rather than against each other - this is particularly effective.

I use old inner tubes, cut a piece of rubber out and put it between the lines, zip tie it in place.

For BTO's that do not already know this, there are a couple companies on-line that sell odd lot lengths of firehose. Not real expensive, couple bucks a foot. A good solution if you have several machines that have this issue.
