Saw a Dearborn drag bucket for sale $250. Pics look really good. Decent price? Gonna use it on my 8n.

Sounds high to me. In Nebraska buckets seldom sell for more than $90. I paid $12 for mine.

That sounds a little high. But don't forget location. How far away is it from you? It cost money to travel to pick up or deliver something.

Around here $150-250 is average. If it's in great shape and you need it go for it. You might hold out for a cheaper one. I passed in a nice Dearborn and saved a few bucks but ended up with a JD dirt scoop. I'm a Ford guy so it hurts my feelings a bit!

The price has doubled on new one mine was $250 I traded the dealer a bottom plow for it he gave me $200 for the plow I no longer needed that was 12 years ago I spec...

Yea I have seen plenty of them sell for under $25,I have one I'd be real happy to get $50 for it.

If your wanting a Dearborn because it is related to and same vintage as your 8N, then your choices are very limited.
So maybe $250 for a lightly used barn stored one is a good price.

I bought a 'brand new' one (like SV pictured) at auction for 50 bucks.They seldom bring more.Last (consignment) auction I attended had an 'original' Dearborn. Brought 10 bucks.

The King Kutter is reversible, but the Dearborn is double jointed and keeps you from getting high centered after you dump.

If they are 'rare',and popular where you are,that price might be just right for your area.Area/location has a lot of influence on priceing.As well as rareity/scarcity of a particular item.If you want or need it bad you better buy it. If you want it for 'giggles'/to play with/just to 'have',you can wait for a cheaper one,but it might take years to get one. Only you can decide.
