What model tractor do I have?

New User
Good day. I just bought what I was told is a 1985 Zetor 2 wheel drive tractor. It is a 3 cylinder diesel. Looking at a lot of web sites, I believe it to be a 5011 or a 5211. The name plate has 2 numbers. The description of these numbers is non-readable. The top number is 17529 and the bottom number is 20225. Can anyone help me as to what those numbers mean? My first buy is going to be a manual once I'm sure what model I have. Thank you.

I get the following message when I try to send the pics. "We are sorry, your post contained one or more words that are restricted due to either YT User Community standards or are common indicators of spamming, cracking, or spambot activity. This was most likely accidental but for obvious reasons, the list of such words cannot be published. The 5011, 5211 and 5245 all look the same as my tractor. I have pics, but, cannot get them to you without an error message.

It's probably because you are a new member, try again after a few posts, or go to "site comments" below and get permission.

If you go to google and ask for methods of reading unreadable model numbers, you might eventually find a way to raise the numbers.

I just "cleaned" the plate. It says at the top "A??I Power" The serial number is 17529 and the engine number is 20225. H.P. is 46.5. Max axle loads are 2293/7930. Max speed 15.5.

Now all I have to do is find a list of the year's beginning and ending serial numbers.

Thanks.

That would be AGRI POWER. They sold rebranded Fiat and Zetor tractors in the 1980's.

https://tractors.fandom.com/wiki/Agri-Power

One of the stops on the way to school had a new Agri Power tractor with a Year A Round cab and a loader. I thought it was a pretty neat machine. They even used it to pull the school bus out of the ditch one time when the drunk bus driver missed the driveway on the turnaround.

Remember when it was okay for the bus driver to be drunk?

I know nothing about your tractor, but love a good puzzle.

A Google search lead me to another tractor forum that had a similar sounding post several years ago. One of the replies
lead to a response that posted a link to a manual for the Zetor 5011

file:///C:/Users/Thomas/Downloads/Zetor%205011%20Manual.pdf

Another hit suggested this place for parts:

https://ridgewaytractorparts.com/

Their website suggested that the Agri Power 5000 with a slightly raised hood was a Zetor 5011 while one with a flat hood
was a Zetor 5211. Someone at that company might provide some help.

Yea. Everywhere I investigate, I find the 5000 is similar to a Zetor 5011.

I can't believe the deal I got. Everything on the tractor works except a couple of the lights. It came with a new battery and alternator, a front bucket, a HEAVY DUTY grader, a 6' brush hog with new blades, a set of forks for lifting and poking hay bales. $4000.

It was my neighbors who are moving out of state to the city, so I know the history of it for the last 12 years. I can trace it back even further because he bought it from his brother who is now deceased. My neighbor said that he had it for at least 5 years.

I ordered the 'Operators Owners Manual' and the '5000 Service Manual.' Found them on e-bay.

My next task is to change all the fluids, then to strip the covers off, re-paint them and the tractor and find the stickers/emblems to put back on her.

Hmmmm, speaking of her, I guess i'll have to name her.

Again, thanks guys. It's suppose to be 70 here today in north central Arkansas, so, I'll being playing with my new toy.
