A few weeks ago I was able to get the garden plowed with a little help from the chickens . They seem to enjoy being out searching for a great find.

The730 usually pulls a 3 bottom plow , but when I plow gardens the smaller plow is easier to handle,more even at the ends . The 730 will pull the 2 bottom at a fast idol , which gives me time to pay attention to what I am doing .

I used to have to plow garden with a D-6 cat and 6 bottom plow back when. Never have used a plow smaller than a 4 bottom and always a trailer plow. A semi mount plow would be alright as you could just back to the start and go again then reverse the next year.
