The bearing retainers popped right out after I rigged a puller. Surprised me, I figured they'd be at least a little corroded.

Ring gear is off, pictures and specifications sent to the parts guy upstate that thinks he has one.

Don't give up, you never know whats out there. Do you have the part numbers (if you posted them already I missed it)? I think Shibuara built compact Ford tractors in the 70's? Maybe gears are the same? My son helps with a friends pulling truck, they seem to be changing gears all the time. Some shop makes them custom. Wonder if you could adapt something from the automotive market?

No part numbers, can't find a manual anywhere either.

Ring gear is 22 centimeters in diameter with 39 teeth.

Pinion has 6 teeth.

Shibuaura made Ford's service manual

Check out transmissions exploded views starting on page 80. Anything look familiar?

One trick I have tried before is finding one part in the assembly that does have a part number. Search that to see where used, then use whatever that turned up to work back down to the part I needed.

Yup, another board led me to that manual. Some similarities on the 11/12/1300, but not the same.

The source I had for parts listed a Shibaura part number for the Ford 1300 ring gear, but he checked and it's not the same.
