Batteries are batteries.

I do not shop at Walmart, if did would probably buy them there.

I think they are made by Exide, one of like 3 or 4 companies that make batteries.

I have them on 3000 diesel, 841, 9N and 8N. No complaints.

As much as I hate Walmart, there’s one right down the road from us, I’ve got their batteries in the Ford backhoe, my Massey 135, and both one tons, I do but the next to the best one, have had great luck with them lasting many years, next nearest place to us is Oreily’s, their batteries are higher and haven’t lasted for me

First off there is only a couple of companies that make them just the color of the cast and decals are different. Me I use the one they sell for under $50 and have had good luck with them

Got them in several tractors. No issues. Half the price of auto parts stores. When you have 9-10 tractors.......save where you can!

Good as any. Another option for smaller tractors is reconditioned batteries $40.00 at local Car Quest. Worked well in MF 50.

I've had good luck (5 to 7 year life) from Walmart's $90-$100 MAXX batteries in vehicles. They seem to about last as long as $150 batteries from auto parts stores. I shop by CCA ratings and battery weight, and use the largest battery that fits into the available space. Also keep them in good charge in subzero weather.

I don't know how well Walmart's lower line $50-$75 batteries hold up.

yes good batteries; I have to go to farm store for 8V batteries tho- they all usually have same and good warranty.

I have a lot of tractors,so I use/need a lot of batterys.I have good 'luck' with the fifty dollar one year free replacement battery.They all seem to last for several years.All other batterys seem to be $100 to 125 each.So,I buy the Walmart battery.

they're OK.

Once I took one of their batteries in as what I thought was a core, and for the heck of it the guy scanned it. Found out it was a month short of a 3 year free replacement.

I'd gone in planning on spending a hundred dollars, and I walked out with a freebie.

You know walmart doesn't make batteries. There is only a few companies that make them and put different names on the batteries going out the door. Now, some brands of batteries they have more stringent quality control standards so even though they are made by the same factory doesn't mean you can't have better luck getting a good battery somewhere else. I'm sure with walmart the battery would have to be really bad to pull it off the line.

I have several of the value power batteries. Haven't had a problem with any of them.

Pickup with an electric powered snowplow will kill a battery in 2 years. Get the same life from a cheap one as an expensive one.

They used to be made by Johnson Controls. Last couple I bought just say made in Mexico.

Best I recall Johnson Controls and maybe Deka or Exide ?? make their and many other batteries. I have used more batteries then I could count and the Walmart ones worked fine for me. If a battery is maintained properly and kept charged that helps longevity about as much as what brand its labeled.

Seems you are looking to buy one. If you need a 925 CCA go to an OTR truck dealer. They buy them by the skid and they are first class, sealed, ⅜" terminals (Size 31.....a 27 with studs not lead posts) and priced right. I don't remember ever having worn one out. They make cables too so if you need to upgrade your cables, bring your old ones with you

I dare say that Walmart buys them by the tractor trailer load, group 31 included. And yes, they have group 31 batteries with the3/8 stud.

A 31 is a physically bigger battery than a 27. If you want a lead post style 31, use a "31P".

Walmart batteries are made buy Exide and Johnson Controls depending on the model.

Walmart is known to squeeze vendors very hard for the "privledge" of WM selling your product.
Not many manufacturers tell walmart to go pound sand when Wal-Mart demands cost cutting on the product in their stores.

I have the cheapest side terminal they sell in the Chevy,I think it is 5 yr old,and a small car battery in the JD front deck.

Been using walmart batteries in my (2) Ford 5000's, been getting 6-7 years out of them. Usually only got 3-4 years out of the 4DLT's that were supposed to be in there, and $40-50 cheaper. Note the rubber flap I put over the + terminal, these batteries are a little taller and it made me nervous.

Just replaced an 11 year old walmart battery in an 8n (12v conversion). Did buy the new battery from Rural King instead of Wally's due to price.

Speaking of Rural King batteries, my 398 Massey uses 2 in parallel. Bought RK batteries 4 maybe 5 years ago, still working fine.

I haven't bought a "Tractor" battery in forever.

Never saw them in stores here. I found size 27 batteries I used in my boat at local WM quite a bit higher and have bought their batteries for years, matter of fact both my road vehicles have WM batteries. Their motto doesn't always apply!

Yup. I buy their "value" style economy ones these days. Someone here, (JDM?), did a side by side comparison of their 5 year warranty top of the line battery and the value battery, same size, CCA, group, etc. They weighed the same, had the same specs but one was $40-60 more than the other. That $$$ is the warranty cost. I used to buy the "good" ones, but the warranty is a pro rated thing and the last battery I tried to use the warranty on I only got about $5.00 back on. Waste of money, not like the old Die Hard warranties where if it failed in a period of time that it was under warranty you got a new battery no further questions asked. Batteries usually fail, IME, because they don't get kept charged fully, not because the battery is junk.

I use them on tractors, RV, diesel pickup, gas pickup, car etc.

No complaints, decent price and normally on the shelf and ready to go with 7 day a week hours evenings and weekends.
