My son's errant shot. 125yds. Bounced off the ground missed the target through a window into the ROPS on the 3930. Better backstops were a topic at dinner.

How many inches did the shaft move forward after the point stuck?
Might need some wrapping on end of shaft like on a fishing rod.
Then the point would go in a bit more!

(quoted from post at 09:44:59 12/02/20) Better the ROPS than the seat or fenders.

...or a tire! Dad found a broadhead in an 18.4x34 tractor tire a couple years ago. Cost him a tube and a new rim, because the rim was so bad they couldn't reuse it.

I have a 3910 and the steel in the ROPS is like 3/16"; plenty durable. I drilled mounting holes in mine for an aftermarket Tough Top and it took awhile to drill 6 ea. ⅜" holes through both sides. I would take the converse attitude. Helluva arrow tip and stout bow. Figure that thing would go right through a deer and not look back.
