Ford or Massey?

Friend at work has chance to get this tractor from his brother for free, asked me to haul it home for him. He said it was a 1956 Ford. But it looks more like a Massey to me - maybe a TO35 or 35? Can anyone confirm one way or the other? The axle sure looks like what our TO35 looked like.

Thanks,
Tim

600/800 Ford, maybe even a 'Jubilee'. Red says 600 'Workmaster" but both red and blue colors on tractor say "repaint" so anything is possible. However, definitely Ford, from '53 to '60'

Thanks everyone! They medallion threw me - I thought it was the right hand side headlight. Neighbor had a 600, so I should have recognized it. And if it was a headlight - I was really confused, as I didn't remember either MF or Ford having lights in the hood like that.

If it does not run - can we use a come-along to lift the bucket enough to load it on the trailer? Or would that possibly damage the loader cylinders?

Wow, is that a heavy duty loader! Way more so than the poor tractor under it!

Sure- I don't think you can hurt the loader. Lift it, push or pull from it, no problem.

Sure, do it all the time. They usually come in a lot harder than when they leave :)

Pulling the control lever back while lifting the loader makes it easier.
