I think this guy may have been serious, given what we have seen
other people do .
It was posted on Facebook in the Traeger BBQ Grills and Recipes .

Not very long once the grease on fire hits that plywood. The only way to do it faster would be with napalm.

He must be one of those people. That runs a generator in the house. I have walked out on many of those nuts. After being called an idiot. After all they had a window open.

About a dozen (or so ) years ago, my coworkers decided to deep-fry a turkey at work. An extremely tight co-worker bought a used three-legged cheapie fryer and we got started frying...inside the shop. We had to work at the same time we were frying the turkey, so we took turns babysitting the thing as it fried. My turn came and I walked into the back room to see one of the red-hot fryer legs starting to bend and the whole fryer was starting to tilt and had just about tipped over. I grabbed a welding glove and righted the thing back up. Another 10 seconds of inattention would have probably had our whole shop catch fire. Never use those things indoors or without being watched.
However, if you want some real humor, watch some videos of people putting a frozen turkey into the hot oil. ;-)

Woman nearby ran out to the shed to check on the generator a few winters ago, during an ice storm. The generator was running inside the shed. She didn't come back. Husband went to check on her, she was dead on the floor from immediate carbon monoxide asphysication [sp?]. He barely was able to stumble back outside.

I have seen that more times than I care to. If you run a generator.
#1 Keep it at least 10ft from the house. In a spot where the wind can carry off the fumes.
#2 If it is in a building away from the house. Make sure it has a good vent system. So the fumes don't collect in it.
