Fordson Major Diesel around 1954. Looks as if it has the adjustable radiator shutters
fitted to the early models, the round topped air cleaner and the "sausage" exhaust
pipe. Wish I could get that exhaust for my petrol/kerosene version as they sounded
beautiful.

Go figure: Guy on the left has his arm, while wearing a suit and tie, on top of a muddy tractor tire. Guy in the seat is dressed for "Sunday-go-to-meetin"

I've noticed that in a lot of early tractor pictures.
I assume they are sales people, factory reps. Probably staged for photo ops, maybe company dress codes.
Check out the size of those pant legs!
