Cleaning Up The Dead Wood

Seems like every year there is more dead wood to clean up in the bushes near the yard. I pile and burn it once we have a bit of snow to prevent the fire spreading. Yes, its firewood but I don't need it anymore as I don't have a wood stove. It still keeps me warm though working out in the woods with the chain saw and axe. Then sitting down watching the fire burn. Some video of it here along with a few still photos from the days when we used to cut it for firewood to heat the home.

(quoted from post at 06:47:53 11/23/20) I'll bet the Cockshut's governor never even had to open running that buzz saw.
Its been a long time since I had the 40 on the belt for the wood saw but I don't think it would have worked it too hard. That photo was from 1987 I believe.

I just watched your video on You Tube last night. Didn't know that was you.

Yes, Roosty6 and rusty6 are one and the same. I post links to my videos here often if they have even a little bit of old tractor content in them just in case anybody is interested. No, I'm not making any money on advertising in these videos. Its just for fun.
