Pouring small slab

I am pouring a few small slabs for small water troughs. They will be 2'x4'x5". What type of metal would you put in the concrete? Thanks.

A couple 1/2” rebar each way. 4000# mix. 5% air.

I would put any old iron in there as long as it over laps.

I wouldn't use metal re-bar, rust is concrete's enemy & this concrete's purpose is to hold up a water trough, isn't it? I would use the plastic fiber stuff. It won't rust & will give the mud strength like re-bar does.
