These are from my great grandfather where he sold and brought livestock. I have quite a bit of old paperwork from my family farm. I farm the same property today, 6th generation.

Really interesting.I have some old livestock receipts from my grandfather back in the 1920's and up.Have the registration paper on a Boar hog he bought from a man over in Shenandoah County back in 1923.

Always neat to see things like this. I have the sales agreement from my great-grandfather dated 1898 for 45 acres, paid in three annual installments of $150.

We still own the farm in Juneau County, Wi that was purchased from the
government in 1856 when they came from Norway. First 40 acres were $1.00 per acre. Original deed was signed by President Buchanan.

Really interesting to look at the Original Abstract that now goes back 164 years. My Great, Great Grandfather rode a horse thru Indian Country for 65 miles to The Land Office in Stevens Point to make the purchase.
