Bought it back.

About 10 years ago I had to sell(needed the money) my F20. It is a 'High Altitude/Narrow tread'. I restored it from a rusty basket
case. I added electric start;foot brakes;PTO extension; aftermarket seat;and several lesser options. It has the later cast F&H rear
wheels.I'm happy. It has been in an open shed, hasn't been run in 5+ years and one rear tire will probably need to be replaced.I paid
just what the guy pd me 10 years ago. That's OK,I wanted it back really bad.will pick it up tommorrow. Did I say I'm happy?

Sounds like a zero-interest loan with your tractor as collateral. Glad it worked out for everyone and I'm sure the F20 will get the attention it deserves now.

I did the same thing only just the opposite way, I bought a 52 8n with a Wagner Jungle Jim loader from a friend of my stepsons. The tractor belonged to the fellas Grand Father, it needed a lot of work and replacement parts to make it run and usable but in the end he bought it back for what I had paid plus most of what I put into it. He was happy to have his Grand Dads tractor back and I was glad to have been able to use it for the 6 yrs until I replaced it with another 8n with a step thru Wagner wm 4 loader. the best part was I learned a lot about Ford tractors and I found this sight to help me So it was a win / win deal. BTW Dell was the first one to give me advice I sure miss the old fella. Respectfully Don

I would like to do the same thing with a Ford I sold long ago. Given the devaluation of the dollar, you sold high and bought low.
