Case 580ck backhoe control lever missing.

My machine is missing a lever and I don't know what it supposed to be for. The lever is above the front bucket control on a flat plate.

I am thinking you are talking about the linkage about the loader control valve? if so that is the return to dig linkage its all there but your loader joy stick is bent so it will not work as it was designed, it is only used for say loading trucks/digging when you want to loader bucket to return to level or digging position automatically, this feather only worked if you had the loader all the way in the air and know how to make the feather work,, this is all explained in the operator manual

I was under the assumption that it was some sort of bucket leveling device, but your description makes more sense.
 
that would be Worthless other than for a show unit,, I have plenty of callouses on my hand and would not want that, those with soft girl hands would not make running it for 5 min lol
