Well I found out the other day that even tho I kinda like this Mt that is not the tractor for me to do lots of field work. My grandson rented some land for putting in deer food plots an ask if I wanted to drive the mt with a disk to come over. Well everything was fine the tractor worked good and after about 3 to 4 hours on it he stop me to eat lunch and I could hardly get off it. I like the a an b better because I need to stand up now and then to get the blood flowing better I guess.
 
We had an MT when I was growing up. I cut many acres of hay with it and a no. 5 mower.
As you mentioned, they are not very user friendly as far as getting on and off, and there is no way you can stand up when operating it. It's been over 50 years since I was on one. Not sure if I could do it anymore either!
 
That is pretty much why JD brought out the model 40. That and the standard 3 pt hitch because the patent ran out on it.

These are "[i:654c4848f0]handy[/i:654c4848f0]" little tractors.
 
The first tractor, "Mac", came from near Waxahatchie, TX.

The second tractor, "Sam", came from just west of Paris, TX.

The third tractor, "Rusty", came from neat Whitewright, TX.
