Good! Tear that sage up! It's nice in pictures & of very little value for anything else. The ratty looking range cattle won't even touch it. And fer Pete's sake, don't start that nasty stuff on fire. Jeez that stuff stinks.

Tear that sage up while you can. We can't touch the stuff here in California, except for a 100 ft fire break around your house. Stan

Looks like a nice job,

Saw this 4020 last year at auction, pricey,, but nice looking tractor, i thought of you, i always wanted a 4020

Got this book in the 90s, saw this pic and i wanted one! Knew they were a great tractor and liked the look of them!!!
I like canopys on tractors, as I mostly do summer work,,but a cab with ac! 👍, would be great, i hope to get a rops and canopy for my tractor this coming spring. Tractor with cab and no ac in summer,,, sucks. Take the cab doors off open the windows it still sucks, in that case I’d rather have the open tractor with no canopy.

This book i have.

Curious as to why you don't mow it with a rotary mower before cultivating? Seems like it would be easier to work up without 2 feet of grass.

A lot the tach was cable was broke at about 5500 hours for as long as i can remember ive been running this tractor since i was 8 years old and we used it for everything on 200 acres and my uncle would also use it on his farm . I rebuilt the engine in college hour meter went to 7000 something and quit working . Putting the farmhand loader on sure beat the crap out of it the bolts broke twice on each side on the front support and that let the loader cave in both side shields the hood was always terrible for as long as ive known grandpa thought it was a battering ram. I’m going to try and get some work done on it this winter make it look half decent at least.

That is a good book i have that and volume one there is a lot of real information in those books one of the co authors was a John Deere engineer. I have always thought a rops and conopy would be nice if nothing else I could wrap myself in saran wrap around the rops 😀

It was actually an old pasture that a friend bought he wanted to plow it out and put in new grass
