I took the '54 TO30 out for a spin. It's the first exercise since October 2019. I've started it and run it till it was good and warm in the shed but no road work. The tires were a tad flat on the bottom. Felt like they were square. Beautiful day here in so. cen. Tex. 69, clear and gentle puffs of breeze. We could use a little rain ---- 6 to 8 inches over several days please. Not 15 inches over night as we have had in the recent past.

Great picture! It's 75 degrees out in the shop tonight. First time I've seen that since last March. We could use a little rain but I'm not complaining. At least it's not in the 90's with humidity in the 80's!

I cheated. This is from spring although today it was 70 and the 35 mph wind of yesterday has died down. A week or so ago someone posted that when people talk about a tractor it would be nice if they posted a pic. Well, I didn't take any today but had this one. Not a barn find tractor but a pasture find.

I understand. Sadly my tractor collecting days are about over. I still have a few but after the death of my father a few years ago I have lost the desire to buy and restore old tractors. It was something that I enjoyed doing with him. I will always have an old tractor around the shop just because I still like the look and feel of a piece of machinery built before I was born. The 63 Ford 4000 that was the last tractor my grandfather farmed with and bought new will always be in my shop and will be passed on when I'm gone.
