Which one to keep and which one to sell

I have an 8n ford tractor and a 135 massey ferguson with the 3 cylinder gas. One gets to stay other one has to go unfortunately.
Both run good, both have a new battery,
8n has new hub brakes and seals on right rear, recently new carburetor, new manifold gasket.
The 135 has new shifter boots and knobs, new plugs, recent carb rebuild.

I basically would be using it for bush Hogging and possibly set 4x5 rolls of hay out to my one horse.

I've got basically the same purchase price in either one. The 135 probably has higher resale value, but 8n are very popular with smaller land owners.

Thanks for the advice and input

If it was me, I would say goodbye to the 8n because its; its geared faster (doesnt have more than 4 gears), good 10 less HP, doesnt have live pto, is a lot older and will lift less. Dont get me wrong, I like my 8n, but its more limited than my other tractors.

much as i dont like either one the ford would go first as the mf is a bit bigger for work.

One of your tractors has a dead PTO, dead hydraulics, limited transmission speeds, 25 hp, and is roughly 70 years old. The other has a live PTO, live hydraulics, more gears, 35 hp, and is more like 50 years old. To me the choice between these two tractors wouldn't even be a question - the "for sale" sign would be hanging on the Ford's grill. (I admit that I'm biased - I've never understood the appeal of N-series Fords when for not much, if any, more money you can get far more tractor by shopping for something else.)

For brush hogging, no question sell the N and keep the Massey. Personally, I wouldn't want to move hay with either but I would try with the massey before I tried with the ford.

I love 8N fords. But,sell the ford and keep the massey. Better tractor. Newer, more power, live hydralics.....Just a much more useful modern tractor.

See the problem is i traded some bigger farm equipment for the massey ferguson and the wife said don't be doing any trading
( which i had already done) so I have yet to bring the massey home yet and that was earlier this year. I keep making excuses to the guy i traded with of why I ain't never picked it up yet.

It sounds like you would be in the clear with your wife because you traded for the tractor, so you spent no money and probably have less ground covered up by your toys, even with both tractors at home. Besides, you need two in case you get one stuck.
