I was gonna say the same, a 2-16 trip plow worked behind the 960.

A 3-14 might have worked, the 3-16 was too much of a load to work very well, tho we had traction problems as much as power problems a mounted plow might have helped.

No way no how would it pull a 4 bottom in this clay.

Reminds me of a TV commercial some years ago when they showed a farmer heading to a field with a 28' disc with the wings folded, pulling with an M Farmall.

That being said, my M has all it wants to do in 2nd gear with a 3x14 plow.
 
That looks to be a 961. A few extra ponies over a 960.
With the pie weights and extra ballast in the tires, it might.
Especially if that's four 12's or 14's.
It wouldn't lack for power, but might for traction.
I've pulled 3 16's behind my 960 in red clay.
Traction is the issue for me without proper weighting.
