Truth from a 6 year old

We had the little guy today.

I asked him what the most important thing in farming is, he replied "don't get your biggest tractor stuck".

They do listen.

I violated the little guy's rule (both stuck), but not to worry, I borrowed an even bigger tractor. :)

We've all been there "Sure I can make one more round a little closer". That's why they make long chains and good neighbors.

Does that include dozier?? Back when I still had TD6 I got it stuck and my Diamond-T and an Oliver 77 could not get it out and that was with both of them pulling on it

I did not get stuck.

I was just giving him a spot quiz.

He is pretty good, knows to drive with bucket as low as possible, don't use 4WD until you need it, and don't get big tractor stuck.

There's a similar rule for four-wheelers: Keep it in two wheel drive until you get stuck, then put it into four wheel drive and go home.

WOW!!! I have operators at work that don't understand that much... keep it up and he will be a very rare asset in a few years.

Some times is better to flip on the 4x4 before its to late. Today I ran the combine 4x4 just because its greasy and I will not track up the field near as bad
