Stainless Steel Muffler....

Im trying to find a "stainless Steel Muffler" for my IH Super C...measures 1 3/4" OD on exhaust coming out of tractor- closest thing I can find is 2" ID on the muffler....will that work is there a place that sells this correct muffler? Thanks.
 
By "exhaust coming out of tractor" you mean the outlet side of the muffler, the Steiner IHS2569 muffler might work, it shows 1-25/32" on the outlet side.

ould a reducer work?
 
I went ahead and ordered the one from Steiner- says it is 2" ID on the inlet and mine is 1 3/4..Ill make it work. Thanks for
your help .
 
Frankly you may be too late to the party.

Whoever made the "restoration quality" stainless mufflers did make one that was a direct fit for the Super C, but they presumably only made a limited number of them. They may be permanently sold out.

If you did not get one, you may be out of luck.
 
s it is hard to find one with the baffle and small outlet for a nice quiet sound just need to keep looking mite find one ON EBAY Farmall parts i do not blame you wanting a nice quiet muffler
