Firing order

Took the plug wires off all plugs to get a valve job done and didn't take pictures. My SC has a Delco distributor conversion. Which terminal is which on the distributor cap? There is a symbol underneath the cap marking one of the terminals, looks like a circle with a capital "I" in the middle. Thanks guys.

Just get #1 cylinder on top dead center on
compression stroke and see which spark
tower on the cap the rotor points to

Fireing order is 1342,clockwise.That 'I' is a #1 for #1 cylinder.use the 'thumb in sparkplug hole' method to be sure you dont get it 180 degrees out.Use a helper to turn the engine while you hold your
thumb over the sparklug hole.Then use a small screwdriver(or piece of wire) to feel when it gets to TDC. Then look at the timing pointer to get it right.
