15 days ago we cut 2 hay fields. One dried real quick and got baled 120+ 2 days later. Other field was thicker and taller grass and wasn't close to dry. Well..... A tropical storm came through and dumped a couple inches of rain. We tedded it a couple days later but wasn't dry enough to bale. Then it rained another 2 inches. Long story short, it got baled today another 200+. Luckily it's that time of year to sell fall decoration hay! Guy up the road got his round bales done today too. He cut on Fri.

Sure do. Could have baled last Monday but had 50 acres of pasture to run barbwire around. Customer had cows coming and had to get it done. Then rained Tues. Set us back on fence job. Worked all day Saturday and finished up Sunday afternoon. Cows were being unloaded while we we stretching last section... Good times!

Around here you can buy double the amount of good feed hay for what you can sell rained on hay for lawn decoration.

Luckily it's don't have much money in it.
So at $2-3 a bale I will be ok. Had to
get it up and out of field

Same thing happened to me except it rained every day for 15 days. Got about 2" total rain. Hoping I can get enough out of it to pay for baling. About 20 acres left.

I still have to wait 4 or 5 days before I can even drive a tractor. I want to brush hog one of my hay fields since the hay barn is full of hay already
