Has the Gin been finished? Last time I was there the engine was in place and was started up. I remember going to that type of gin and seeing them work. When I was a kid. Our town had one gin but the town 5 miles from us had 4 gins. Back then they ran around the clock. Only one gin near us now-but very modern. It's a good show if any of you hadn't been.

I was there last year, no nothing has been done to the gin. The equipment is in there but nothing is connected or working.

The years before they would start the engine, but they didn't last year.

Not sure what was going on last year, a lot of the engines were not started. The old houses that were usually open were locked up. Maybe my imagination, but just seemed there was less enthusiasm than years before...

Same here, back in the day there was a gin or two in every community.

Planning to be there but this is 2020 so I won't commit 100%. I'm taking the '54 NAA with an interesting plow.
