Been bush hogging for the last couple of days.
I put the double ring chains on when I do this section.
Makes it "stick" on the side hill a little better.

I've done that before, use double ring chains off season, they work well, just bumpy on hard ground. Sure looks a little steep, I
have a few places like that here, I take my time when cutting those areas, always have my ROPS up and the seatbelt fastened with
the more modern tractor I'm fortunate to have. Did the same areas without those features for many years, was a nice upgrade.

Looks like the golden rod is turning already, I hate cutting it once the flowers are gone, that fuzz and chaff is awful, I cut the
place at least twice a year now, so much easier than when I cut once towards the end of summer or later, never stop cleaning that
radiator screen in those conditions.

Might be the picture but doesn't look very steep to me,need to get you on the hill I was raking and baling today going down to a river put extra weights on all the tractors.

That's a good idea with the chains. Some years ago neighbor slid sideways down a hill. Tractor tipped over. Killed instantly.

I have been mowing the same land since I was 12 or 13 years old we have steep terraces that I mow .I put my tires on the terrace and follow the
contour. They seem to be a lot steeper now than :60 years ago. Places I didn't worry about then, I go slow and if I don't feel comfortable I will drop off
the terrace and try a different approach. Sometimes I will mow up and down the hillside.

That ain't anywhere near the steepest part.....elst I wouldn't have been gettin' off the tractor to take a picture. LOL

What scares me is dry grass on a hill. When the tractor starts sliding down, all I can do is turn away from the hill. It really scars me like I said. There is no controlling anything. Stan

Those double ring chains really bite in........tremendous improvement in traction and much safer feeling.
Going down hill without the chains gets to be real scary!
