Looking at a JD cultivator 14 ft three point. Anyone know what weight would be. I have a 85hp JD5425. Don't know the model number. Is it to big?

You wont have any problem. If you really sink it in you will make her snort but a field cultivator is not designed to do deep tillage anyway.

my 56 hp 770 plays with my 16' Ford/ Glenco unit,, if he is indeed talking about a cultivator and not a chisel plow which are two different animals as you know,, some guys think the cultivators are chisel plows,, they rip them apart and then blame the unit

Yes they will dig like a chisel but it ruins the springs and shanks in primary tillage

Field Cultivator. Just to mix fertilizer in and kill small weeds and plant Barley on firmer ground. Been flat broke and disk then several rains.
