Assembled a hay cutting playlist....

on my EweTube account. Figured I'd try something a little different. Had a pile of short clips as filmed from my tractor. So, this is what I did with them. Don't really have a whole lot of experience with the whole video posting thing yet so it may not be the best. It's at least not as long & drawn out as my baling video. That drags on like Giant & is not quite as interesting. Well, for those of you who would like to watch me lope along with my mower & conditioner, enjoy!!

And no it's not monetized. Never will be monetized. Don't believe in such greed.

Hay In The Making....

It cuts drying time considerably. What would take a week or more to dry down when the hay is heavy, gets cut down to three or four days. The cutting I made in the video was ready in two. It was only half as tall as first. We didn't have much rain after that cutting. Think it was only 2". My third cutting will probably not be for a month yet. I anticipate about four days from cut to bale. Days are shorter & the humidity & dewpoint will be 3x by then. It's possible we'll have 75° temps, low humidity & sunny days, but it's not a common occurrence.
