Dating old and Tired

Tires that is, I got the new front rubber on my IH. It was fun (not) breaking them down by hand. I would have liked to just take them to a shop, but wanted to clean up the wheels before installing the new tires. I took the opportunity to sand, prime, and paint the wheels and weights. Just used rattle can paint, but the correct colors. It looks good. If this set lasts half as long as the ones I replaced they will probably out live me. One of the tires was 40 years old, the other was 36.
Now I need to clean up the rest of the tractor.

That's how it starts. I got new front tires on my 951 ford. Broke em down, wire wheel, prime and paint. Rest of the tractor looked tired........ You guessed it! All painted now. Let us know when you finish!!!

Yes I have been expecting them to blow for a while now.
ss55 it is a 1967 Gas 424.

Grandpa, I will share pic as I go. Brakes are next and it looks like removing the fenders will be worth the trouble. I won't be able to reinstall them without new paint :)
