Night mowing

Doing some night mowing and enjoying the cool night air, a comfortable 68 degrees here in Southern Illinois. The 1170 Case is running strong sucking in the cool night air too, the 15 foot batwing is no problem for it anyway and these fields are monthly contract mowing.

Finally cooling off here in California. Could use some of your cool air. Dad would cut beans at night to keep them from shelling out. Two rows at a time with his F12. Stan

Don't see any bugs in those pictures. They are all down south by the Big Muddy River. Raked hay last week and the Barn Swallows got so full they barely made it back to the barn. At least the chickens get to enjoy a breakfast of fried bug in the mornings from the zapper. Good pics.

I'll probably be doing some night mowing myself to get caught up, Blew the yoke on the right wing clutch trimming the road side before I got to the first field (it had rust in part of the crack so it was already failing), Broke a fitting on the bottom of the fuel tank before I got 5 acres mowed and lost nearly 35 gallons of fuel.
Tanks fixed and we'll go back to mowing tomorrow with only 72 acres yet to mow, at the present rate I may be finished by spring hay season.
