SV you remind me of a guy I worked with 30 years ago. He was never ready to go to the field till the lights come on then he was ready to go all night. When combining in the fall he would find all kinds of things to tinker on till the boss would run him out of the shop then when it got close to dark he was ready to go. Used to drive me nuts. When I got there in the morning I was ready to go. By 8-10 pm I was ready to hit the hay.
Hay and straw get to dry out there for daytime baling most of the time don't they.

That's great. I'm so glad that baler is working for you. Now bring it to my place to bale my hay this weekend.

Now you'll have to bring out the yellow Dodge with a big flatbed to get that straw back to the ranch.

Thought I'd be finishing up but with all the wet weather hay on the place next to me has really grown back while I was cutting hay across the river, have close to 90 acres to cut if I can get it done before more rain.Hay making in Sept and Oct here is day by day thing.

I work all day at fertilizer and chemical company so farming has to get done all night also strsw and hay gets baled at night until early moring sometimes until 10 or 11 am depending on the dew big straw bales explode if you dont bale with some dew unless you run a lot of pressure and then the bales are still crappy

Thats how it is here towards the end of the month had some one year that didn’t get baled till thanksgiving and then had a 3 hour window and the rain hit again just as I finished i have baled straw in December before

If i had a truck big enough I’d bale your hay for the rest of my life wouldn’t have the baler if it wasnt for you

Short distances works good to just take the tractor was going to use both tractors so my nephew could run one but hes busy with other things

You can see how hard the baler was trying to press a good bale but the straw was so dry it just crushed it three total casualties from baling to dry ill feed these and sell the others that got put up with dew

That was one of the most fun jobs I've done. And now I can quit worrying that they won't hold up. You are very welcome.
