Sonic repeller?

Think they may work, I have 3, two in a garage, one in a 24 × 36 shed. Squirrels have moved on, and fewer mice. Not an absolute solution. But seem to work.

My mother bought one years ago and said it was working for her.

One day I decided to take it apart, all that was in it was the tiny red light bulb that comes on when you plug it in.

So if you believe a tiny red light keeps mice away, you should be able to buy one for a lot less than they charge for an empty plastic box.

My folks bought a couple over 20 years ago. Nobody ever knew if they actually helped at all, but Mom & Dad kept them plugged in just in case.

All I got to say is, when they died and we had to clean up the house, there was certainly no shortage of mouse droppings!

Ran experiments many years ago on cockroaches. They used the housing as a condo. University of Kansas. That was about 40 years ago. Every so often they bring out a new package and new electronics for new suckers.

All hype unless you want to torment higher mammals. They might work close up, but I am not sure of this.

Humans can only hear up to 23 khz and that is only if you are young.

Part of my post disappeared. I must have flushed it.

Dogs and hear up to 45 khz.
Cats can hear up to 64 khz.
Mice can hear up to 90 khz.

It really depends on what frequency is being emitted. The power falls off quickly at higher freqencies.

You mean those high pitched warbling squeekers? Those do work, they repel anyone wearing hearing aides! Don't know anything about the ultrasonic ones.
