We have not mowed lawn for 2 weeks but the Mrs. thought the Plankton whip were getting tall so we mowed lawn yesterday--It was hard to tell where you mowed and didn't. We got a little rain a week and a half ago and where it ran off the yard and the blacktop was the only green grass. The crops are really suffering!---Tee

It was dusty mowing lawn on the ol 66

It's been rainy all year here in Middle Tennessee. I bale small square bales so I need at least a 3 day stretch of dry weather to get the hay up. We've had so few stretches of 3 dry days, I haven't finished my first cut of hay yet. There's a 40 percent chance of rain this afternoon but I'm going to try to bale some anyway. I cut it four days ago. It got rained on once and tedded twice. I guess I'll see if I can actually get some baled and off the field this afternoon.

Except for one hot and dry spell we have been mowing none stop. Just like tom posted above its hard to get enough dry days to bale.

I mowed the 1st time in 6 weeks here in Central Iowa. It was hard to tell where to mow except for the dry crunchy grass showing tracks.

Plankton is a broadleaf weed we have in places in our yard--it has a weed stem in the middle full of weed seed and is the only thing that grows in hot dry weather--Thanks---Tee

Do you mean plantain, wide leaves stay flat to ground with tall seed spikes, lots of seeds on the sides of the spike.

You are right on the spelling--I asked my Wife how to spell it and her phone told us wrong--Thanks for the correction--spelling was never my strong subject---Tee
